Dani Pedrosa Suggested To Rest For View Weeks

Spaniard doctor, Xavier Mir explained that the last test of Pedrosa's left shoulder at the Dexeus Univertity Institute Hospital in Barcelona on Thursday shown that there is no need to further surgery following four weeks rest after last surgery at Spain.Pedrosa will start rehabilitation and return to physical training in order to regain full fitness for the first MotoGP tests of the 2011 season, which take place in M alaysia at the beginning of February.

“Due to the trauma caused by the crash in Japan where Dani broke his left collarbone and needed surgery to fix the bone with a titanium plate, the nerve located over the collarbone, between the neck and the shoulder, received a severe contusion and the heavy inflammation of this area causes fatigue and lack of strength all through the arm. He will need a period of four weeks of complete rest with physiotherapy and anti-inflammatory treatment.”

 “I’ve been suffering a lot since Japan and I knew something was wrong with my arm because after the surgery I didn’t get better. This lack of strength was very strange and annoying! I was worried because after Estoril we checked the collarbone again and it looked like there was nothing wrong with the plate, but we had no more time between races to check more deeply the reasons f or my lack of strength. I have had other injuries and surgery in the past and I know that you need some time to recover and get fit again, but this time it was taking too long. Now everything is clear and it’s good to know that the collarbone is OK and I don’t need any more surgery that would take a long time to heal. I hope that within these four weeks the inflammation passes gradually and that I will be able to start rehabilitation and training in the middle of December. We had a good test in Valencia after the final race and I want to start the winter tests in February in Malaysia in a good shape in order to be ready for next year’s championship.”

Andrea Dovizioso New Contract On Repsol Honda 2011

HRC has confirms that Andrea Dovizioso will still on Repsol Honda line up for 2011 MotoGP. It means, after Casey Stoner join with Repsol Honda, there will be three rider on next year MotoGP for Repsol Honda team. This contract was announced after HRC and Repsol signed more two year contract. Previously Honda Racing Coorp ever had three riders on their line up while Mick Doohan, Alex Criville and Shinichi Ito rider for Honda at 1995.

Andrea Dovizioso finished 5th on this season 2010 MotoGP, up one place from 2009 MotoGP season.

Stoner Fastest, Pedrosa Make A Good Progress

Casey Stoner be the fastest on 3rd free practice of Valencian MotoGP by 1.32.664. Good progress came from Dani Pedrosa. After cannot reach the big 10 on free practice before, Pedrosa finally back to his track by 1.32.945 on 2nd place. It's only 0.281 second behind Casey Stoner. Jorge Lorenzo as the fastest rider on 2nd free practice session was 0.172 second behind Dani Pedrosa.

Marco Simoncelli also looks find his good performance after finished 4th at Estoril GP last week. His time record for this 3rd free practice session of Valencia MotoGP was 1.33.171 on 4th place, followed by Ben Spies and Andrea Dovizioso.

One Heart On Left, Satu Hati On Right

This is the new tagline on HRC riders. Both Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso were supported by Astra Honda Motor Indonesia. Their riding suite was supported by new tag, One Heart on the front side and left hand side, and Satu Hati, on the right right side. This tagline also appear on the bottom of the RC212V, both One Heart and Satu Hati were placed on the right and left side.

This is a psywar from Honda Indonesia against Yamaha Indonesia that already used Indonesian tagline on Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Is Indonesia will be the MotoGP Host for future? Let's wait and see.

This weekend race will be held at Valencia, Spain. All of MotoGP riders looks very confidence and want to close this season with a happy ending.

Aleix Espargaro

"The fall on the first lap of last Sunday's race was not what I was aiming. I was aiming to achieve a good result on Estoril's track and the results of Friday and Saturday free practice sessions had give me high hopes for the race. Sunday we'll return to Spain for the fourth time this year. In the other three Grands Prix on the Ibernian land of this year, I have conquered a fifteenth position in Jerez, a good tenth position in Aragon and a withdraw on Barcelona's track, a race in which I had done a very good weekend. I hope to greatly improve the position conquer in Aragon and conclude in the best way my first MotoGP season. This track has a different flavor for me, I made my debut here in the 2004 while I was riding a 125cc. "

Alvaro Bautista

"I was very surprised at last week's result because after how well we had been performing it was a bit of a shock, but I know we can put that behind us and challenge the top-six group. I have experience of riding the GSV-R at Valencia after last season's test, so I will have some reference points and I think the circuit will suit the bike well. It is amazing having another 'home' race and I will have many fans there to celebrate the end of the season, I will certainly be trying my hardest to give them, and the whole team, a good result to remember and take forward into the winter."

"I'm very happy that we were back on the podium in Estoril. It means we are competitive and that we can go to Valencia with the target of fighting for fourth position in the World Championship. Valencia is quite a slow and twisty track which makes it a technical and challenging circuit which isn't easy to ride. It's not one of my favourite circuits on the calendar but that's really not important - because we are determined to have a very good race on Sunday and finish off the year as strongly as possible. The Valencia weekend is a special event, not only because it is the final round of the season but also because on Tuesday and Wednesday after the Grand Prix there are two important days of testing in preparation for the 2011 season. I'm really looking forward to getting the maximum out of these two days of testing before we head into the long winter break."

Carlos Checa

"The rain during Estoril's Grand Prix have certainly not helped me. I needed to run as much as possible on the track and the weather conditions that I have found have not allowed me to do that. The feeling that I was able to develop with the bike during the weekend have not allowed me to find the right riding position on the dry track. The forearm pain after a few laps did not allow me to give to the bike the right braking and the best way to entre in the turns. My results on Valencia's track are not exciting, but I have taken some satisfaction in my long career, arriving twice in the fourth position in the 2001 and in the 2005. Even if I do not feel any pressure, I'll try to do my best to give a good result to the Pramac Racing Team which have offered me this fantastic opportunity."

Casey Stoner

"After the awful weather we had to put up with in Portugal I hope that Valencia is a bit better and we get chance to work well and get a good set-up for my final race on the Ducati. I have always liked the circuit and I had my first ever win here in 125cc. It is a tight but flowing circuit and even though there are a lot of second and third gear corners they are banked and you can let the bike run, keeping some good speed up. This also helps you to find a gearbox setting quite quickly because apart from the straight, obviously, you only really need two gears. In the past we have always been able to find a good set-up so I we are confident. I really want to have a good race this weekend."

Dani Pedrosa

"In a couple of days I will get back on the bike again at Valencia and I really hope to feel better than I did on Sunday in Estoril. The last medical checks I had this week have shown that the nerves are not affected and this is positive, even though I'm feeling the same symptoms of numbness. I went to Clinica Dexeus to have an electromyography scan in my left arm from the neck to the hand. It showed that the nerves are OK, so I will continue having physiotherapy and I hope that gradually the lack of feeling passes. Despite the circumstances, I'm going to Valencia in a good mood because this is a track I love and the atmosphere there is always special. Last year we had a great race, so I want to get a good result regardless of my physical condition. We have a new sponsor this weekend from Honda in Indonesia. When I visited Indonesia this year I was really amazed by how many people follow MotoGP there. They are very passionate and knowledgeable about the championship, so it's good that this new sponsor on the Repsol Honda machine can create a link with this country."

Hector Barbera

"After the result in Portugal I am feeling happier and more confident. I feel comfortable with the bike at the moment and I hope we can do a good job in practice to find the right set-up for the race. Cheste is my home circuit and I can go fast there without hardly thinking about it so I hope that remains the case this weekend. It is a goal of mine to be fast at Valencia on the Ducati and the target for the weekend is to score my best result of the weekend, finish 2010 well and be part of a really cool race for all the fans. We have got a lot of data from the test we did here at the end of last year and I am sure it will help us."

Hiroshi Aoyama

"Sometimes I have a good feeling with Valencia and sometimes I don't. I hope that this time the feeling will be good. Last year I achieved the 250cc world title there and I have some nice memories on that, but you cannot compare this. I hope that the coming race will be better than the one in Estoril, where I could have finished in the Top 10, but made a mistake and had to be satisfied with 12th at the end. It is a pity that the team cannot continue. I had a really good time with them and I want to thank the team for all they did for me."

"I've never won here in Valencia," said Lorenzo, during this afternoon's pre-event press conference. "It's not my obsession to get a victory here this weekend, but we are sure going to try. It's the last race of the season, so we'll make the last push, as we are very motivated to have a good race."

"I hope we can go well at Valencia because it has been a very hard season for us and we need to end the year in a more positive way. The circuit is quite good for our bike and it seems to suit the dynamics of the GSV-R well. I know it will be difficult and I'm still not 100% fit, but I firmly believe I can go well in Valencia. It is the last race and after all that has happened this year it would be good to give my crew something to smile about -- I will certainly be giving everything I've got to make that happen."

"In Portugal I had yet another disappointing day and I can't even begin to explain the reasons why we have yet to work things out. We have been trying in vain and I am so bitterly disappointed about it. Valencia is our last chance to salvage something from a season to forget and I will try my hardest. I like the track and I won here in 250 and MotoGP but the chances of us doing anything this weekend are very small and that upsets me.

"I am still feeling satisfied but also slightly annoyed with how close I came to the podium at Estoril. I was happy with my performance because we kept a consistenyl fast pace from start to finish and I was able to battle with riders who have got the better of me in recent weeks. We have improved so much lately and the performance at Estoril has made me even more convinced we can be regularly fighting at the front. I can't wait to get started at Valencia and put the disappointment of last year behind me as quickly as possible. I love the track and I am desperate to finish on the podium there after missing out by such a small margin in Portugal. The way we are finishing the season is a great sign for next year. We still have a big job to do but the work we have done so far is paying off and I am happy for Honda and the team, who have given me so much support."

Nicky Hayden

"Time has flown past since Portugal. I went to Italy do some wind tunnel tests at Ducati and then we were back on the road to Spain. It has done me good to have a couple of days rest though because the crash on Friday left me with a knock on my back and it has been a bit painful. I'm okay now though and I can't wait to get back out at Valencia, a circuit I love and a place that will always be special to me because I won the title here. Also the fact it's the last race of the season, with so many people there packing out the grandstands... it just gives the whole event that little bit extra. I have been on the podium here twice in the past so we'll try and do it again this Sunday."

Valentino Rossi

"The points gap to second is quite big and Dani is always fast here," declared Rossi. "Anyway, a good target is also to resist and keep the third position from Casey, who is also fast here in Valencia. Last weekend we worked well in Portugal and had a good first half of the race, for this Sunday we will try and prepare the second half."

New HRC Tagline: One Heart

Not to be outdone from Yamaha Indonesia, Astra Honda Motor Indonesia will sponsoring Honda Racing Team for next 2011 with new tagline One Heart and Satu Hati. Satu Hati is an Indonesian translate for One Heart. Satu mean One, and Hati means Heart. Yamaha Indonesia was earlier wrote an Indonesian text in Fiat Yamaha Team motor and riders racing suite with "Semakin Di Depan" which means "Getting In Front Of"

MotoGP 2010 Final Result Analysis

Here we come. Next Sunday will be the last race for 2010 MotoGP season. World Champion and Rookie of the Year has been found. Now MotoGP is looking for the runner up and 3rd leaderboard place.

Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi will fight for 2nd place. Pedrosa with 236 point will be a runner up if he finish at least on the 9th position, even Valentino Rossi get 25 points at Valencia. Also the reverse. Valentino Rossi will achieve the runner up position if he can finish first and Pedrosa only finished at 10th or less. Or, the point gap between both of them are not more than 7 points.

Battle for 3rd position came from Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, and Andrea Dovizioso. Rossi with 217 points had the biggest chance to win the 3rd position. Rossi only need 14 points the seal the 3rd place championship. It means, Casey Stoner must not podium if Rossi want to seal the 3rd place. Dovizioso had the smallest change for this place. Dovizioso can be the 3rd MotoGP champion if he finish first at Valencia, while Valentino Rossi finish not more than 14th place, and Casey Stoner not finish more than 4th position.

Dani Pedrosa Felt Much Better On Estoril 2nd Free Practice

Dani Pedrosa ended the first day of the bwin Grande Premio de Portugal in 13th places on 2nd free practice. He said that he felt much better with his RC212V at Estoril during the bad weather after miss last three races.

“Straight away I felt much better on the bike here than I did in Australia and the shoulder has recovered a lot, which is very positive,” said Pedrosa, who along with the majority of the premier class opted against riding in the first practice due to the wet weather conditions.

“I feel a little bit tired now, but basically I feel okay after riding today. It was a pity that we missed the whole practice this morning because of the rain, and also at the beginning of the afternoon session the track conditions were difficult, which limited what we could achieve. To be honest I didn’t feel totally at home on the bike today but I think this is normal after so long without riding, and this situation will improve.”

With the focus on re-establishing his comfort on the bike times were not on Pedrosa’s mind, as he completed 19 laps with a best time of 1’53.592 – just over five seconds off Jorge Lorenzo’s top time.

“Usually when you ride in wet conditions you take it easy and this was especially true for me today because I certainly didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. It was good to be on the bike again and to see that I can ride more or less normally,” he explained, before adding a comment about the rearranged Saturday schedule which will see one hour dedicated to each of the final practice and qualifying sessions.

“Tomorrow we’ll see what the weather brings, but it’s good that we have two hours instead of two 45-minute sessions, and we’ll make the most of that extra time,” he concluded.

Now let is if Pedrosa can do better on 3rd free practice session till the Sunday race to keep his position on the table

Dani Pedrosa Confident After Recovery

Dani Pedrosa will race next Sunday at Estoril. This Spaniard told that this track will be more easier for him that Phillip Island. With 9 right turns, Pedrosa shoulder left shoulder will endure less load. It means, he can race with less pain.

“We get back on track this weekend at Estoril and, in principle, the situation should be much better than it was for me in Australia,” said the 25 year-old, who was forced to head home early from Phillip Island after the pain became too great to ride in the race. “The Estoril circuit is not as demanding as Phillip Island and this should help me to feel more comfortable on the bike. Plus I’ve had some more time to recover which should help too.”

“This kind of injury needs time to heal and with two more weeks having passed I’m really looking forward to seeing how much the shoulder has improved. I went to visit the doctor last Tuesday to have the stitches removed, and the scar is fine. I’ve been doing some more rehabilitation on the muscles and I have some more strength, but I will not be able to fully judge how much difference there is until I get on the bike on Friday morning. Also, I think it can be positive for me that there will be two practice sessions on Friday again, as we had in Aragón.”

Estoril is a track on which Pedrosa has enjoyed podium finishes in the past three seasons, and he is looking forward to taking the true test of how well he has recovered.

“In terms of the track layout, Estoril has some hard braking areas and it’s bumpy, but the fact that it has more right hand corners than left can be good for us. So, I’m looking forward to getting there with my team and seeing how I feel,” he concluded.

Gear Up Estoril

MotoGP this weekend will be held at Estoril, Portugal. Although championship was over yet, but MotoGP still looking for the runner up for this season. Dani Pedrosa now on 2nd position with 228 points. He leads only 23 points from last GP winner Casey Stoner.Valentino Rossi still on 4th place with 197 points, or 31 points behind the current runner up Dani Pedrosa. Riders Items Being Auctioned

The E-bay auction for the rider paraphernalia donated during the Dedikato 2010 event, is set to be resumed.  The first auction was suspended immediately following the San Marino Grand Prix, out of respect for the memory of Shoya Tomizawa and his family's mourning.  All proceeds from the auction will go to the Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis Research, founded by Matteo Marzotto.

The auction will begin again on October 29th, on eve of the Portuguese Grand Prix, and conclude on November 8th, following the Valencia GP.

Numerous objects will be available for bidding including: a Shoei helmet autographed by all of the Shoei riders, a pair of Valentino Rossi's race boots, pairs of gloves from Marco Simoncelli and Toni Elias, a set of leathers worn by Marco Melandri, and more boots from Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa.

There will also be some stranger items available, such as a pair of autographed gym socks worn by Marco Simoncelli, which he took off and donated "live" during the Dedikato event.

One item which will not be available is the special edition helmet, designed by artist "ONE", featuring the likeness of Dajiro Kato and signed by all of the riders present at the 2010 Dedikato event.  The Mayor of Misano, Stefano Giannini, and the President of Misano events, Luigi Bellettini, decided to present the helmet to the family of Shoya Tomizawa in a private event held after the Grand Prix.

Perfect Win From Casey Stoner

Casey Stoner wrote a perfect win at this Sunday race on Phillip Island. Home race was give more support for Stoner. After set fastest time on qualification and warming up session, Casey Stoner perfectly win the race by 8.598 seconds lead from Jorge Lorenzo. Good start from Stoner continues with his domination on the race. Jorge Lorenzo as the MotoGP champion only finished at 2nd place, followed by his teammate Valentino Rossi. Other Ducati's rider, Nicky Hayden finished on 4th. This race was greeted by Ducati and Yamaha.

Winning on this race also make Stoner go to the 3rd position on the leadership table, 23 points behind his next year teammate, Dani Pedrosa who decided not race this weekend. Valentino Rossi down to the 4th position with 197 point, or 8 points behind Casey Stoner.

Next race will be more interest if Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso can perform on their best. Although championship was over, but MotoGP 2010 is still looking for the runner up. Three riders up for this position, Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner, and Valentino Rossi.

Pedrosa Decides To Not Race

Dani Pedrosa decides to not race at Phillip Island tomorrow. This decision made after qualifying practice today. 

“After the operation in Spain my target was to come back in Australia. But having ridden in the three practice sessions here it’s clear that it is really impossible for me to maintain a high pace because I lose strength in my arm lap-by-lap and controlling the bike gets increasingly difficult – even more so with the strong winds here,” said Pedrosa.

“Phillip Island is a very fast circuit, I have to grip the handlebars very tightly, and this makes me very tired and gives me a lot of pain. To ride around three seconds off the pace in the race tomorrow and maybe collect just a few points wouldn’t make much sense. But I think it has been worth it to at least try to ride here because we really didn’t know how I would be on the bike until we tried.”

Pedrosa added: “Now, though, I don’t want to take more risks so that I can recover in time for Estoril. I discussed the situation with HRC Team Director Kazuhiko Yamano and we have the same opinion.”

Pedrosa will lost poins again. And to keep his 2nd position now, Pedrosa have to fight more harder on the last two races at Estoril and Valencia

Stoner Fastest On 2nd Free Practice Australian Grand Prix

Casey Stoner set the fastest lap on 2nd free practice of Australian MotoGP series by 1.31.243. This record was wrote on 17th lap. Duo Yamaha Tech3 rider following Stoner on 2nd and 3rd. Both Colin Edwards and Ben Spies are 0.757 and 0.858 seconds behind Casey Stoner.

Jorge Lorenzo, the 2010 MotoGP champion, on 4th with 1.32.168, followed by Nicky Hayden, Andrea Dovizioso, Randy De Puniet, and Valentino Rossi. Dani Pedrosa still had a problem with his shoulder after surgery. Pedrosa best lap on this session was only 1.34.804, 3.561 second behind Casey Stoner best time. 

After 1st free practice yesterday, Pedrosa wants to clearly recover from his injury. He told that he want to check his condition on the bike.

“The plan today was simply to check my condition on the bike – in these conditions I didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. What I can say is that I had some strength to move on the bike and put pressure on the handlebars which is good” 

“However, I didn’t feel very comfortable with the leathers because they were tight and there was pressure but even with that I could do some laps and tomorrow I will try again – we will go step-by-step. Now it’s quite painful but we will see how the pain goes through the night and tomorrow we will take another step. We knew it wouldn’t be easy but I just hope that the effort is worth it in the end.”

Pedrosa Ready To Defend Second Position

Dani Pedrosa will arrive at Phillip Island on Wednesday. This good news was clearly inform by Pedrosa after fully recovery from his collarbone injury. This Spaniard is ready to defend his second place on MotoGP 2010 from Valentino Rossi. Now Dani Pedrosa lead 47 points from Valentino Rossi (181 points) who wins last race at Sepang, Malaysia. 

“I will arrive at Phillip Island on Wednesday to have some time to recover from the flight and rest a little bit. I know it will be tough because Phillip Island is a very demanding track and also the weather conditions can play a big part, but I really believe it’s time to come back with my team and try to return to the high level of performance we had before the crash in Japan.”

“The Championship is decided, but for us it’s still not over. The target now is to retain second place in the standings and continue working on the bike so that we arrive in good shape for the winter tests, when we will start working for next year."

Pedrosa also extended his congratulations to Lorenzo after his rival’s achievement.

“I think it's very good for Spain to have another World Champion in the top class after Alex Crivillé's first title back in 1999. That was a long time ago… too long. So I'd like to say congratulations to Lorenzo,” said Pedrosa. “He rode very well this year right from the beginning of the season and made very few mistakes - so he deserves the title.”

Pedrosa looks very confident for the race of this season and next season race.

Finally the rumors was answered. Dani Pedrosa absence on Sepang MotoGP this weekend. It means that Jorege Lorenzo chance to win the title for this season is bigger. Pedrosa lost his points from last 2 grand prix series, Motegi, and next race at Sepang.

It has been confirmed today that Repsol Honda Team rider Dani Pedrosa will not take part in this weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. Pedrosa underwent surgery on Saturday to fix a titanium plate to the collarbone he broke during practice for last weekend’s Grand Prix of Japan. After the successful operation, there was a very slim chance that the Spaniard would be fit enough to make the journey from Barcelona to Malaysia and attempt to take part in this weekend’s MotoGP race.

Pedrosa will race again at Australian grand prix, October 17th. It means that the last prediction about Pedrosa was correct. So once again, Andrea Dovizioso will be a single racer for HRC. Last season, Dovizioso did not finished at Sepang. This weekend, Dovizioso will fight after some good progress result by wins on 2nd place at Motegi, Japan. Pedrosa Ready For Sepang MotoGP

According to TVE, Dani Pedrosa will try to fight at Sepang MotoGP this weekend. This rumors was release after Dr Mir, lead Doctor for Pedrosa's surgery, made a green light signal for Pedrosa to race again at Sepang. Latest information said that this HRC rider will catch a flight from Barcelona to Kuala Lumpur for MotoGP. 

After a successful surgery, Pedrosa still cannot move his arm. But there was a good improvement after physiotherapy. 

"My condition has improved in the last two days, and now I'm making a passive recovery with my physiotherapist. Yet I can not move my arm for myself, but I'm getting better with massage," said Pedrosa after spending review Dexeus clinic, where he underwent surgery last Saturday by Dr. Xavier Mir.

Pedrosa was not optimistic will race at Sepang. His first target was Phillip Island. But after his condition getting better in last two days, Pedrosa said that he still have a chance for Sepang MotoGP this weekend. Maybe he will miss the Free Practice on next Friday but still try for the Sunday's race.

The main problem for Pedrosa is his shoulder. After Dr. Mir attached the titanium plate for his collarbone, he has to make sure that the plate were perfectly attached on Pedrosa's. Pedrosa Leaves Hospital After Successful Surgery

Dani Pedrosa finally leaves Clinica Dexus at Spain after successful surgery after his accident at Motegi, Japan. This Spaniard was leaves hospital at 10 AM, two days after he had an operation to insert a titanium plate in his left collarbone.

“Dani had a four-fragment chip fracture of the left collarbone and, together with Doctors (Victor) Marlet and (Ignacio) Ginebreda, we have performed a fixation with a titanium plate, made especially for the collarbone," said Dr. Mir. "We have fixed the two intermediate fragments with two compression screws."

Dr. Mir said: “48 hours after operating on Dani Pedrosa’s fractured left collarbone, which we fixed using a titanium plate, the post-operation process is correct and yesterday he started to make small passive movements of his shoulder and elbow."

"We have discharged him and today he will start active-passive rehabilitation with his trusted physiotherapist. We will meet again next Wednesday to treat him again and check how the injury is evolving.”

Now Pedrosa is ready for an 'active-passive' rehabilitation under the supervision of his physiotherapist. And let see, for the next Pedrosa's action on track
